What an incredible journey the Lord has brought me on, truly an unforgettable one and Nepal will forever hold a sweet place in my heart. God allowed me to discover and learn more about the ones he loves from miles and miles away and I will say that he loves his children in Nepal. We quickly learned that people are being brought to Christ through healings, a softened heart and open mind. Our first few weeks in Nepal was really all about adapting, we moved from middle eastern culture to now Asian and we stepped into a vibrant, very welcoming culture. Living in Kathmandu, Nepali people are kind, friendly and have this excitement to show tourists their country. Settling in was sweet we had amazing hosts supportive believers in Christ with open arms, they quickly became our friends and really welcomed us with so much love. It was an amazing first month just being able to partner with their ministry, on Saturday’s we had main church service where we helped volunteer with children’s ministry, media team, and worship team and two members of our squad in rotation every Saturday shared a testimony. On Sunday’s we helped with an early church service where we were able to come alongside and pray healing over people and see God move in ways that show his glory! On Wednesday we hit the streets of this busy city of Kathmandu and got to bring the gospel and share the heart of Christ to his children, and in the afternoon our ministry had a worship night and one thing about B squad is we love any moment where we can freely dance and praise the Lord!! On Thursday’s we were blessed to help at an orphanage and really come and encourage this beautiful couple who are raising and supporting 14 children on their own with one son of their own and a little one on the way. It was beautiful to see their heart in raising these children on the Bible and ultimately loving on them as Jesus does. I loved seeing those precious faces we played soccer with them, card games and they all made us these precious flower crowns and bouquets of wildflowers.

We then got blessed by having our parent vision trip where some of B squads parents got to join us on the mission field and come and see our ministry and love on their kids and support us. Truly such a sweet time, even with mine not being able to make it I know the Lord is sweet in his timing and his will and I was so blessed to have his comfort because in ways it was pretty difficult. They joined us for a week and it was an amazing time of teachings, and worship I saw so much of the Lords heart and his spirit always filled the room, just healings in relationships and understanding. So powerful seeing the move of God. I enjoyed our time in Kathmandu so much, we were filled up and poured into by our hosts and they led us so well. They took us on hikes with beautiful views of Nepal mountains and we were just so grateful for them!

After Kathmandu we joined another ministry called High Adventure and we partnered with this awesome man who led our team on a trekking ministry for two weeks to go live and encourage the mountain people in Gurkha Nepal. We took a long public bus 12 hours from Kathmandu to this village that we couldn’t reach on car and walked 10 miles after our bus ride to this sweet mountain village. The weather was cooler up there and the views were stunning, we had clear views of the Himalayas and I was just blown away by Gods beauty in his creation. We met the local pastor of the church we were being hosted by and heard his testimony and it was so powerful and inspiring. To make a long story short he held strong in his faith, when he built this church he was being persecuted by the Hindu community in that village and had the church building burnt down not once but three times. And the pastor remained committed and consistent to sharing the gospel he fled and came back rebuilt the church and now the ones who once persecuted him and almost had him killed now attend that now standing building and this pastor shows the love of Christ to every believer in that church. And this one church in that village is filled with not one inch of room with people, people come from miles and miles away on foot to come to the only church where they get to freely pray and praise Jesus Christ! Truly an inspiring church and I’m so grateful to have been able to meet and encourage this body of Christ it’s something I’ll hold close to me forever. Unfortunately my last week there I got sick and was pretty much vomiting and in pain the second half and made trekking back pretty difficult, let me just say having nausea while hiking down a massive mountain is not for the weak lol I barely made it. But by the favor of the Lord he sustained me and really that is a testimony of Gods strength!

Once we got down from the mountain we started on the move for our travel day to Chitwan which was an 8 hour bus ride from where we were and moved from the cold mountains to one of the hottest cities in Nepal. Now Chitwan was very sweet time because we got to see Rhinos and Elephants face to face! It was the coolest experience to see elephants and rhinos casually walking along the streets it being normal to the locals. We got to pet, feed and ride an elephant through a jungle and it was so beautiful, although I probably never ride one again I did enjoy it. In Chitwan we also partner with a local church and made some sweet friends with the local believers, we went on house visits to go and pray with families and encourage them. We heard powerful testimonies and heard the power of the Lord through healings over time, that he’s a God with perfect timing and it takes us being persistent and trusting in prayer. I’m so thankful for Chitwan and was so blessed by the amazing experience God brought us through. Leaving Nepal is very bittersweet, there was lots of growing, a lot of learning new things about myself. Learning new things about Christ and how strong and powerful prayer is that it’s a weapon and always necessary! Leaving Nepal to go to India also meant heading to our last country on the race and only being closer to home which is a whole feeling I can’t explain in words because it’s overwhelming with joy, with sadness and knowing that God is not done with his mission after the race. We have 30 days left on this field and I know the Lord is going to move and continue showing his power through and through this coming to an end of a journey.

And if you made it this far Thankyou for reading!! I’m so grateful for all your support and prayers you have poured into this mission! I’m currently still fundraising and if you feel led to supporting and giving you can do so here! Thankyou again for making an impact to the nations it’s all for his Glory! Godbless you!
