Gods love this month has been so consuming. God is here and it couldn’t be more evident. Matthew 19:14 Jesus says “let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”. God loves his children so much and loves them so greatly. Everyday as we walk a mile to ministry i am constantly reminded of the joy that takes place when we enter “The Garden”. My team “Faithful footsteps” is in that place 3-4 times a week doing ministry such as VBS, English classes for the children, Women’s Bible study and soccer. Every child that walks through the Garden door is greeted with love, the simple and sweet love of Jesus, big hugs, big smiles and a wanting for them to feel welcome and cared for. When we aren’t loving on them physically we are interceding for them in the spirit, asking the father to pour out his love onto these children, onto Guatemala, onto the families and homes and every person in this nation and to all the nations. It’s a sweet sweet feeling being in his presence and falling more in love with his creation, his people and his heart. I’m so thankful for Gods heart and I’m so great full to experience his character and his heart in a new country. El amor de Dios este mes ha sido tan intenso. Dios está aquí y no podría ser más evidente. Mateo 19:14 Jesús dice: “Dejen que los niños vengan a mí y no se lo impidan, porque el reino de los cielos es de quienes son como ellos”. Dios ama tanto a sus hijos . Cada día, al caminar una milla hacia el ministerio, recuerdo constantemente el gozo que se siente al entrar en “El Jardín”. Mi equipo “Pasos Fieles” está en ese lugar 3 o 4 veces por semana realizando ministerios como la Escuela Bíblica de Verano, clases de inglés para los niños, estudio bíblico para mujeres y fútbol. Cada niño que entra por la puerta del Jardín es recibido con amor, el amor simple y dulce de Jesús, grandes abrazos, grandes sonrisas y el deseo de que se sientan bienvenidos y cuidados. Cuando no los amamos físicamente, estamos intercediendo por ellos en el espíritu, pidiéndole al Padre que derrame su amor sobre estos niños, sobre Guatemala, sobre las familias y los hogares y sobre cada persona en esta nación y en todas las naciones. Es una sensación muy dulce estar en su presencia y enamorarme aún más de su creación, su gente y su corazón. Estoy muy agradecido por el corazón de Dios y me siento muy feliz de experimentar su carácter y su corazón en un nuevo país. ¡Qué privilegio!
